Argentina Source & Brokerage

Argentina Source & Brokerage

Argentina sourcing, intermediary precision.

Argentina sourcing from the ground: an American company on site — we broker, partner, or source. Lithium first; every commodity when the deal demands it.

Engagement

Match the role to the deal.

From full intermediary through the close, to a quiet source behind your desk — we scale to what you need.

01

Broker the whole deal

End-to-end intermediary on physical commodities — introduction through negotiation, documentation, and delivery coordination.

02

Partner or sub

Plug into your existing structure as a local partner or sub-broker. We bring Argentina presence; you keep the client relationship.

03

Source only

Need verified supply, not another middleman on the contract? We find it, qualify it, and hand you the thread.

Focus

Lithium specialists. Ground for every commodity.

Argentina’s lithium triangle is our home turf — brine, hard rock, and the people who move it. When the brief isn’t lithium, the same network still walks the yards, plants, and ports.

Physical product. Real counterparties. Local eyes on the ground.

Sourcing advantage

Origination beats intermediation.

Anyone can forward a quote. We go toward the producer — not another silent link in a broker chain.

Position in the chain

Sourcing

Named origin. Direct to the title holder.

vs

Pure brokering

Daisy chain. Nobody names the title holder.

Proof of product

Sourcing

Spec and lot tied to a real parcel.

vs

Pure brokering

Recycled COAs and stock photos.

Counterparty risk

Sourcing

Named company — not a handle.

vs

Pure brokering

A WhatsApp and a hope.

Commercial control

Sourcing

We stay on the file when spec or price moves.

vs

Pure brokering

Intro, then silence when spec or price slips.

Execution risk

Sourcing

Execution only if we are hired for it.

vs

Pure brokering

First failed shipment ends it.

That is the other side of the market. We origin. We do not add a WhatsApp to the chain — and we do not promise lab, legal, or load-out work we have not been hired to do.

Lithium spec book

Every grade, including the ugly ones.

Built for mid-tier cathode and battery-chemical buyers: pCAM and CAM producers, converters, and refiners who need real parcels, honest assays, and a path for material the majors walk away from. Unrefined, off-spec, and re-refine feedstock are not problems here — they are inventory.

Battery grade

Lithium carbonate — Li₂CO₃ ≥ 99.5%

Low Na / K / Ca / Mg / SO₄ / Cl / B, controlled Fe and magnetics at ppb level, D50 particle size and bulk density to your CAM line.

Direct feed for LFP and NMC cathode precursor. Qualification parcel then term offtake.

Battery grade

Lithium hydroxide monohydrate — LiOH·H₂O

Carbonate content controlled, low sulfate and chloride, moisture-protected packaging, nitrogen-blanketed liners on request.

High-nickel NMC / NCA chemistries where hydroxide is the required lithium source.

Technical grade

Technical carbonate — Li₂CO₃ 99.0–99.4%

Industrial spec with elevated alkali and sulfate. Priced at a discount to battery-grade index.

Glass, ceramics, greases — or purification feedstock for converters running their own polish step.

Off-spec

Off-spec and out-of-tolerance parcels

Material rejected on a single deviation — high Mg or Ca, sulfate excursion, boron, moisture pickup, caked FIBCs, magnetics out of range, or simply an expired qualification.

Re-refine and tolling feedstock. Full deviation report, retained samples, discount tied to the actual assay — not a story.

Unrefined

Salar brine and concentrated brine

Raw and pond-concentrated brine with full chemistry: Li g/L, Mg:Li and SO₄:Li ratios, K, B, Ca, density. Moved in ISO tanks or flexitanks where permitted.

Converters and DLE / process developers who want to run their own extraction economics on real Argentine chemistry.

Unrefined

Lithium chloride solution and crude salts

LiCl liquor and intermediate crude carbonate / crude salts from partial processing, with impurity profile and moisture stated up front.

Mid-stream conversion, pilot lines, and toll-refining programs building toward battery spec.

Hard rock

Spodumene concentrate and DSO

SC6 at 6.0% Li₂O, SC5.5 and lower cuts, plus direct shipping ore with grade, Fe₂O₃, mica and fines reported. Quoted in LCE for comparison.

Converter feed and blending programs where the arbitrage lives in the concentrate, not the salt.

Program

Tolling and re-refining routes

We map who will purify, at what recovery, on what turnaround — then structure the parcel so your landed cost per tonne LCE actually works.

For buyers who would rather upgrade discounted tonnage than pay index for spec they could make themselves.

Trial parcels sized for real qualification — not 5,000-tonne fantasy offers. Pricing referenced to published indices, CIF or FOB, with the deviation and discount stated in writing.

Beyond lithium

Wine, soy, chemical offshoots, and more.

Same buyer-side mandate, same ground network — different cargo. When the brief is Argentine wine, oilseeds, PVC-chain chemicals, protein, grains, or industrial specialties, we origin from producers and plants against your requirement.

Wine

Bulk and bottled from Mendoza and beyond — bodega qualification, SENASA and export packs, brand or private-label programs, and FOB / CIF structured against real lots.

Soy

Beans, meal, and oil through crush and export corridors. Spec, moisture, and document control for crushers, traders, and end buyers who need Argentina executed cleanly.

PVC & plasticizers

Resin where available, plus secondary plasticizers — ESBO, DINP / DOP pathways, and related additives for buyers who need Argentine or Southern Cone supply tested against a real requirement.

Caustic & alkalis

Caustic soda and related industrial alkalis — plant-direct origination, grade and packaging confirmed, logistics and export pack held to the same escrow discipline as lithium.

Specialty chemicals & oils

Glycerin, specialty oils, boron and inorganic specialties — the industrial lanes distributors and formulators actually buy when lithium is not the brief.

Powders & minerals

Specialty powders, minerals, and industrial additives for advanced-materials and chemical buyers who need a verified Argentine source, sample, and COA.

Beef & protein

Chilled and frozen beef, offals, and related protein programs — plant qualification, SENASA paperwork, cold-chain control, and export packs for buyers who need Argentine protein executed to spec.

Corn & sunflower

Maize, sunflower seed and oil, and adjacent grain / crush lanes — moisture, grade, and document discipline through the River Plate export system.

Bring the product, grade, volume, and destination. We tell you whether Argentina can answer before anyone spends a site visit.

Mandates

Three sourcing mandates. Compare the cover.

Same five criteria as above. Full cover costs a deposit. Less cover, less cash up front — and a longer success tail.

Leadership

Justin Hare

President

Justin came up through Providence Country Day, a Rhode Island prep school that taught him how to show up prepared and hold a room. As an outstanding delegate at Brown University’s Model United Nations, he learned to negotiate under pressure, build coalitions, and close positions with clarity. He studied International Business at Florida International University, then built fluency the hard way — as a Spanish medical interpreter in clinics and at professional seminars, where precision and trust are non-negotiable.

That same discipline carried into advanced security and executive protection work, and into more than twenty years across Latin America. Today he lives in Argentina as your American on the ground: bilingual, culturally fluent, and accountable from first introduction through delivery.

Those skills are the edge in sourcing and brokerage. Interpreting taught him to hear what counterparties actually mean. Protection work trained him to read people, sites, and risk before a deal goes sideways. Decades in the region mean real relationships — not cold lists. You get one point of contact who finds the supply, holds the middle, and handles it.
